Ready, Aim, Fire!

It was a long Christmas break for the yellow house kids and on a cold day with no snow boredom sets in fast. If you are like us after Christmas present shopping and the big dinner funds are low, so we needed a low cost kinda fun. Enter Thrifty & Thriving’s brilliant idea: marshmallow shooters. That’s right I said marshmallow, much better indoors than paintball and lots of fun (even the dogs enjoyed racing to eat the marshmallows before we picked them up)!

Just $22.00 later I had enough supplies to outfit a family of four. You can get the how to details at her website, but the basic supplies are 1/2″ diameter PVC pipe, assorted couplings and caps, and a bag of mini marshmallows. I was lucky enough to have a hardware store where the cut the pieces to size for you so no tools needed either. If you don’t glue the pieces together the entertainment can continue as everyone tries to outdo each other coming up with unique “weapons”.

R (my action shot model) managed to create a shooter using the pieces from all the guns put together.
